Romeo and Juliet.
A story told many times, in many ways, famous from the time the Bard himself put quill to parchment and wrote those inital lines and brought star-crossed lovers together only to perish for the love of one another.
Its been on stage, in film, updated and revamped countless times.
Why waste my time on another version of the same story?
The story itself is timeless, it fits so well in so many different ways that society cannot simply turn away from it. Change the groups, change the time periods, and it will always be "Romeo and Juliet".
Blood Mutiny is different though.
A little rougher around the edges perhaps, with one faction leaning towards the past, the other toward the future. Not enough? Why not add monsters to the mix? Werewolves and vampires to be specific. Still not enough? Oh, there is more to tell...but if everything was told at once, then there would be nothing to tell for later.
